Cassandra's Summer Learning Journey: Week 4, Day 5, Activity 2 - 2019

Welcome,
This blog post is about adopting animals from the WorldWildlifeFund. I have already chosen three animals and I have to compare and contrast them. At the end of this post, I will tell you which one I'd like to adopt.

I chose an Arctic hare, Snowy owl, and Arctic fox. Two things that make these animals similar are that they live in cool freezing snow, and they're grey/white. They're also different because not all of them have wings, tails, and paws. They aren't the same size.

Out of these three cute animals I would adopt an Arctic hare and pay the $55 fee because I want this beautiful looking animal to live. They also don't seem too big or small to have as a pet.

What kind of animal would you adopt?

Cassandra's Summer Learning Journey: Week 4, Day 5, Activity 1 - 2019

Good afternoon,
Today my job is to talk to you about environment day. The whole meaning and point of environment day is to protect our planet and make it the best it can be. I will share three things I would do to help our planet. Here they are:

1. Collect as much rubbish as I can and put them into the right rubbish bins.
2. If I am using plastic bags, I won't leave them behind to damage animals by choking them or somehow slicing them.
3. If I see people secretly littering, I tell to them to stop because it piles up with other rubbish and flies everywhere.

Sorry this blog post was a bit short but thank you for coming. Feel absolutely free to leave a comment.

Cassandra's Summer Learning Journey: week 2, day 5, activity 1 - 2019

Wasting Away

Yes, I think it's fair for the people who fish in the 'out of bound' areas
to pay a $100 000 fine. People who fish there should already know
that it is not allowed. In my opinion, I think that we should just leave
fish where they are living their lives. It's okay to take fish, but people
take them to much. I hope over fishing stops, because it really isn't
a great thing to do.

This is my hotel. I would love to invent my very own hotel, in the beautiful busy Auckland city! I would build it near the sky tower, so I can have a very nice view to look at. I'd like to see all the lights, all the cars and tall buildings. I think it would be fun! I would probably build my hotel out of wood, and make it tall. I'd colour the outside black, and the inside walls will be a very light baby blue, and white. I would build an upstairs, and put many bedrooms up there for the visitors that stay in my hotel. -
