I love the look of your choice of bird, the Black Robin. It's adorable.
I hope, though, that you wouldn't keep a wild bird in a cage, even though they're very cute. I think you're right - they would feel very 'trapped' and unhappy when they're used to flying free in the wild.
You did a a good job of listing what these birds like to eat but I don't think you've said where they normally live. I think they're usually found on the Chatham Islands which is interesting to me because one of our friends is living on the islands right now, doing some biology research. What a coincidence!!
You've posted a photo of this lovely little bird and you've created a nice poster background for your information - good for you!! You're obviously working hard at these activities!
