It is awesome to see that you decided to interview both your Mum and your Grandma, as well as adding your own opinion. You all have raised very valid points as to why you agree to the plastic bag ban. I find it interesting and very true that it is the wildlife that you are all thinking about. This was one of the biggest motivators for banning the plastic bag. We were producing millions of plastic bags every single day around the world and many of these would float around our city and end up in our waterways.
You are absolutely right, if we were to start making a difference now then we are one step closer to protecting this beautiful planet. We are lucky to live in such a beautiful country, lets work together to protect the land and stop destroying it.
Well done Cassandra. I loved hearing all the different opinions from your household.
Kia Ora Cassandra, You've done a great job showing your mum, grandmother and your opinion on what you think about Countdown stopping plastic bags. Ka Pai!
All of you thought the same opinion on agreeing with their smart choice, and same with me. The landfill gets absolutely bunched up with lots of plastic, and then it takes a couple hundred (WOW) years for it to all break down. I can't believe us humans had to create plastic bags in the first place.
What is your favourite thing about Earth?
