  1. Hello Cassandra,
I am Vitaraag. I think that it is also important to protect the marine animals even if they are not damaged. Do you want to take care of them? Maybe next time you could say more about the coastal and marine environments. Keep up the amazing work!

  4. Hi Cassandra,

I'm Leslie and I'm a member of the Summer Learning Journey team, reading your blog from my home in Canada. I'm so glad that you've decided to participate in this program this summer - good for you!

I'm interested that you've looked at the Fauna and Flora website and chosen to learn about the Cambodian coastline. Is there a particular animal or type of plant that is being affected by pollution and that concerns you?

Do you have a favourite coastline area near your home? Are there any concerns about pollution there?

I live in the middle of my country, Canada and so I don't have much experience of being by an ocean. We do have beaches, however, on the shorelines of our lakes and rivers.
Right now it's very cold and the ground is snow-covered so we can't even see the beaches. It will be a few months before the spring melt happens and the rivers and lakes will become visible again. Is that hard to imagine?

I hope you're really enjoying these activities and that you're also spending lots of fun time in the out of doors over your summer holidays!!

I'll continue to enjoy reading your blog!!

    Cheers,

    Leslie
