It's Leslie here, a member of the Summer Learning Journey team. I'm looking at the temperatures in the cities you've posted on your graph and I can hardly believe that it can be so very hot there, while it's so very cold where I live!!
You've done a super job of creating this graph - good for you!!
Have you ever been to such a hot place? I know that you're in your summer time in Auckland but I don't think you ever have temperatures in the low 40's, do you? I hope not - that must be so so uncomfortable!!
The temperature outside my house today is -36 C. There's a strong wind so it's pretty challenging to even walk around the block. My poor dog, Spirit, cringes when I go to put her leash on, even though she's the reason we're going out.
However, the weather is to change in a couple of days and the temperature is to rise. It will be more manageable by Wednesday, hopefully.
I hope you're enjoying some beautiful weather on your holidays and that you're getting lots of fun time outside, as well as enjoying these SLJ activities.
