Have you ever heard of them before, or actually had a chance to see them? It must be quite something to see a fish leap out of the water and seemingly fly!!!
There are a lot of really amazing animals in the world, aren't there? We have a bird called a Loon that is able to both fly and swim under water. It lives on fish and other water creatures so it spends a lot of its time underwater chasing food. It can dip down into a lake in one location and come back up to the surface hundreds of feet away. It's always a bit of a game for us to see who can guess where the loon will re-emerge from the water!
I hope you're getting some time at a beach or at some other fun summertime playspace in your community.
