I am Vitaraag. I would also love to go on a zipline. I think I would also be nervous like you at first but it would go away soon. I love my family and it would be cool if we all sat down and had fun to enjoy Rotorua. I have been to Rotorua once and it was very cool. Maybe next time you could tell me if you are able to go there. If you can that will be good.
It's Leslie here, reading your blog from my home in Canada as a member of the Summer Learning Journey team. It's fun to be looking at a photo of someone ziplining in Rotorua while my part of the world is covered with snow and deeply cold.
I'm glad to know that you're adventurous, that you'd enjoy trying a new activity like this. Good for you!! Have you ever been high up in the air, perhaps on a high bridge or up in the Sky Tower in Auckland?
I know that I'd have real trouble ziplining because my legs turn to jelly whenever I'm above the tree top level. We have fire towers in Ontario, built to give us a chance to look out over the forests to keep an eye out for fires in the summer. I can climb the ladders on the towers to the top of the trees and then I just seem to have to stop. Heights are not my friend.
So I admire your courage!! I admire my daughters' courage too because they've both gone ziplining and loved it!! And it's certainly a great way of giving people a chance to see a landscape without all of the wear and tear of walking or hiking over it. Good idea!!
I hope you'll have a chance to try ziplining at some time in the future. Meanwhile I'll continue to enjoy reading your blog!
