    Hi Cassandra,

    I'm Leslie and I'm a member of the Summer Learning Journey, reading your blog from my home in far away Canada. Isn't it amazing that I can live on the opposite side of the planet and yet participate in this program too? Very cool!

    You have lots of interests that keep you busy on a rainy day, I see. That's great. I'm glad to know that you enjoy creating things, drawing and writing. Are you an artist? Or do you hope to be a writer some day?

    Lucky you to have a grandpa who likes to play on playstation with you. That's the best isn't it, to have someone who loves to play? I have 2 grandchildren whom I look after every Friday and I just love having the time to do puzzles with them, read books, play catch and Hide & Seek. We laugh a lot when we're together -very fun!!

    I hope you're really enjoying these activities and that you'll keep working steadily at them. You're doing well!!

    Yes indeed, I actually do have lot of things that entertain me on boring, rainy days. It all usually turns out great.

    Wow, I think it's cool that you have two grandchildren to play many games with. I bet you adore them, and are happy that they're in your life.
