It's Leslie here, a member of the Summer Learning Journey team. I see by your blog entry that you're a person who enjoys staying up late and would prefer to sleep later in the morning.
You've done a super job of representing that both with your words and with your choice of graphics and colour. Well done, Cassandra!! You have an artistic side to you, for sure!
I would think it's helpful if a whole family is built a certain way, as in you're all night owls. It can be awkward when some want to be up late at night and others prefer quiet so that they can go to bed early!
My husband and I are both early-to-bed, early-to-rise people so when we visit with our sister and brother-in-law, who are night owls, we find it really challenging to stay up late for a visit. They don't go to bed until well after midnight, usually, by which time we're falling over on the couch!!
Everyone has their own way, don't they? It makes the world the interesting place that it is!
I hope you're enjoying lots of opportunities to sleep in this summer. The school year will begin soon enough...
And I hope you'll keep working at these activities. You're doing so well!!
